moon tang

19 Sep 2025, 7.45PM – 8.30PM

moon tang is a Hong Kong-based singer-songwriter of Thai-Cantonese heritage, known for her distinctive blend of dream pop, R&B, and indie influences. Her artistic identity is deeply intertwined with her given name, moon, which serves as a metaphor for feminine energy, the fluidity of human emotions, life’s cyclical transformations, and inherent inner strength – all recurring motifs in her heartfelt compositions. moon approaches music holistically, meticulously crafting captivating melodies that complement her candid and often vulnerable lyrics, creating a deeply profound and relatable emotional experience for her audience.

moon’s bilingual artistry, expressed in both Cantonese and English, allows her to engage in self-reflection and connect with a global community that shares similar feelings. Her discography is a rich tapestry of human sentiment, from the melancholic introspection of “lately” and “bad weather” to the reflective wisdom of “dear moon,” the raw anguish of “i love u,” and the joyful celebration of “favorite jeans.” Following the critical success of her 2023 album, Water Comes Out of My Eyes, moon marked a significant career highlight with two widely anticipated and completely sold-out “25” concerts. This achievement coincided with the release of her much-anticipated album, “25”, featuring standout new singles like “moon waltz op.25”, “moon night sonata”, “for you” and others. moon has recently released her first ever mandopop ‘-o-” further solidifying her position as a compelling and evolving voice in contemporary music.

Mila Bea

20 Sep 2025, 6.30PM – 7.15PM

Mila Bea is a songwriter shaped by artists like Fiona Apple, Adrianne Lenker, Radiohead, and Phoebe Bridgers. Her love for music spans genres, from 90s Rap to Jazz, due to her upbringing in a family with a rich knowledge of music. Growing up to the sounds of Father John Misty, Neko Case, and Jenny Lewis, she started writing and performing music at a young age. Mila’s debut single, “Neat,” illustrates mental health’s toll on relationships. Her album, Part of Me, dives into the ups and downs of growing up.

Mila’s artistic identity includes writing poetry and making art, colouring in her lyrics with metaphorical and emotional intricacy. Instead of providing a relatable experience, her music is inclusive as she navigates struggles alongside her listeners.

Heema Izzati
